Eva Green and Jeffrey Dean Morgan have joined the cast of Kristian Levring’s $14 million English language western “The Salvation”.
Set in 1870s America, the story follows a settler who kills his family’s murderer, unleashing the fury of notorious gang leader Delarue.
Mads Mikkelsen leads a cast that includes Eric Cantona, Mikael Persbrandt, Douglas Henshall, Michael Raymond-James and Jonathan Pryce.
Levring and Anders Thomas Jensen co-wrote the script, and an eight-week shoot has just begun in Johannesburg, South Africa.
