More names have joined two high-profile franchise spin-off series on the way. First up, “Peacemaker” and “Scorpion” alum Robert Patrick has been added to the cast of the “Yellowstone” spin-off “1923” as a series regular.
Patrick will portray Sheriff William McDowell, a friend of the Dutton family and joins the previously announced cast like Harrison Ford, Helen Mirren, Darren Mann, Michelle Randolph, James Badge Dale, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves and Julia Schlaepfer.
Also announced is that “Russian Doll” and “Arrow” actor Charlie Barnett has been cast in the upcoming “Star Wars: The Acolyte” series, which will see him reunite with producer Leslye Headland. Details for Barnett’s character are unknown beyond it being a supporting role.
That series takes place in the last days of the High Republic when the Jedi were at the height of their power, and about a century before ‘The Phantom Menace’. Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Manny Jacinto also star.
