The first trailer for “Morbius,” the upcoming Jared Leto-led adaptation of the Marvel Comics title at Sony Pictures, is set to arrive shortly.
A new two minute thirty-one seconds long trailer for the film has been rated by the Alberta Film Ratings board which suggests it will be online within the next fortnight. With Sony to release “Bad Boys for Life” next Friday, the trailer’s attachment to that film seems a likely possibility.
Daniel Espinosa helms the movie about a scientist suffering from a rare blood disease who attempts to cure himself and instead becomes afflicted with a form of vampirism. Adria Arjona, Matt Smith, Jared Harris and Tyrese Gibson co-star.
Meanwhile, the full-length final trailer for Cathy Yan’s “Birds of Prey,” which is likely to be red-band, has been rated overnight by Consumer Protection BC. Containing two uses of coarse language, the trailer runs two minutes and twenty-two seconds and will mark only the second trailer for the film following the first trailer released back in early October.
“Morbius” opens July 31st while “Birds of Prey” arrives February 7th.
