Moore Pens “Court of Thorns & Roses” Pilot

“Outlander” and “Battlestar Galactica” showrunner Ronald D. Moore has signed up to adapt Sarah J. Maas’ “A Court of Thorns and Roses” into a live-action series for Hulu.

Moore is writing the pilot alongside Maas in a script deal with a significant penalty if not greenlit to series. 20th Television will produce.

Launched in 2015, the five books of the ‘ACOTAR’ series so far tell the story of a human 19-year-old huntress Feyre Archeron who is brought into the fantastic lands of Prythian after murdering a faerie wolf in the woods.

A mix of epic romance, adventure, and political intrigue unfold as she falls for a faerie lord in return and ultimately fights for that love when an ancient curse threatens to destroy the faerie and human realms.

Moore also produces “For All Mankind” for Apple TV+ and recently signed a massive deal to develop projects for Disney.
