Nickelodeon and Mattel are teaming up for two projects based on the ghoulish toy line “Monster High” with both to premiere in 2022.
One will be an animated series that will follow the characters as they navigate the hallowed halls of Monster High. Shea Fontana (“DC Superhero Girls”) will serve as showrunner.
The other will be a live-action TV movie musical event with “Big Hero 6: The Series” writer Jenny Jaffe penning the script alongside Greg Erb and Jason Oremland (“Princess and the Frog”). Zack Olin and Shauna Phelan will produce.
