“Minari” director Lee Isaac Chung and leading man Steven Yeun are tipped to reunite for the TV series “Beef” in development at A24 and Netflix.
Discussing Film (via The Playlist) reports that Chung has signed on to direct “at least” the pilot episode of the series, possibly more.
Yeun and Ali Wong star in the dramedy which follows the fallout of a road rage incident as a couple’s lives and mental health are continually affected by the incident.
Shooting on the series, which consists of ten 30-minute episodes, is expected to begin in early 2022. Sung-Jin Lee (“Silicon Valley,” “Tuca & Bertie”) created the series.
