Michelle Yeoh (“Crazy Rich Asians,” “Star Trek: Discovery”) has joined the increasingly impressive cast of the action thriller “Gunpowder Milkshake” from StudioCanal and The Picture Company.
Navot Papushado (“Big Bad Wolves”) is directing the project which centers on a mother-daughter assassin duo played by Lena Headey and Karen Gillan. Angela Bassett and Paul Giamatti also star.
Yeoh will play part of a sisterhood of secret arms dealers who come together to help Gillan’s character when things go south.
Papushado and Ehud Lavski co-wrote the script while Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman are producing. Shooting kicks off June 3rd in Berlin.
