Michelle Monaghan (“M:I-3,” “Source Code”) is set to play a veteran of the Afghanistan war in the $2 million indie drama “Fort Bliss” reports Variety.
The story centers on a female soldier transferred home who struggles to re-learn how to feel to rebuild her relationship with her 5-year-old son.
Claudia Myers directs from her own script and will produce alongside Brendan McDonald and Adam Silver. Shooting starts in June in New Mexico.
