Michael Shannon and Jamie Chung have joined the thriller “Premium Rush” for Sony Pictures says The Hollywood Reporter.
The story follows a New York bike messenger (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) who picks up an envelope at Columbia University, only to be chased throughout the city by a dirty cop (Shannon) desperate to get his hands on it as it contains incriminating evidence against him.
Chung plays Gordon-Levitt’s ex-girlfriend, a fellow daredevil bike messenger who helps him outwit the cop. John Kamps directs from a script by David Koepp while Gavin Polone is producing.
