Michael Bay In Talks For “Ambulance” Remake

A year after the release of “6 Underground,” filmmaker Michael Bay is currently in negotiations to helm his next project – an American remake of 2005 Danish psychological thriller “Ambulance” with production expected to begin in January in Los Angeles.

Laurits Munch-Petersen’s original film centered around bank robbery involving a returned veteran from Afghanistan and his brother. However, the robbery didn’t go as planned with the brothers having no choice but to take hostages and hijack an ambulance.

As the situation escalates, old wounds reopen in the relationship between the brothers as they fight to survive what seems like an impossible situation. Chris Fedak is penning the script with James Vanderbilt, Bradley Fischer, and William Sherak set as producers.
