Mia Goth is set to join Ryan Gosling in Shawn Levy’s “Star Wars: Starfighter” feature which will begin filming this Fall in the UK.
Gosling will reportedly play a character that must protect a youngster against evil pursuers. Goth will play one of those pursuers.
Goth is reportedly taking the same role that Mikey Madison had been circling before her deal fell apart over money.
As Levy indicated in April, this is a stand-alone story unconnected to the Skywalker Saga, but will take place around five years after the events of “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” – a period of time not explored on film or TV as yet.
Goth will next be seen in Guillermo del Toro’s “Frankenstein” and has a key small role in Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey”.
“Star Wars: Starfighter” is scheduled to open in cinemas May 28th 2027.
