Following on from their successful collaborations with “The Holiday” and “Something’s Gotta Give,” filmmaker Nancy Meyers has closed a deal to direct an untitled film for Sony Pictures Entertainment.
The story deals with how the life of an American young woman gets turned upside down when she begins dating a very unlikely young man.
The complexities that follow are bigger than both of them. Set entirely in the UK, the film will have an all-British cast aside from the yet-to-be-named female lead.
Meyers has re-written a screenplay that was originally written by Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber. Meyers and Matt Tolmach will produce.
