Ewan McGregor and Ethan Hawke are set to star as the titular half-brothers in “Raymond and Ray” for Apple Studios and Apple TV+.
Rodrigo Garcia will write and direct the film in which the pair have lived in the shadow of a terrible father.
Somehow, they retain a sense of humor and his funeral allows them to reinvent themselves with anger, pain, folly and grave-digging.
Alfonso Cuaron, Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn will produce.
McGregor has most recently been filming the “Obi-Wan Kenobi” series for Disney+ while Hawke is currently starring as the villain in Marvel’s “Moon Knight” series.
