Annapurna Interactive, the game publishing arm of Megan Ellison’s Annapurna Pictures, has released a ‘voice cast reveal’ trailer for their newest title “Twelve Minutes”.
A real-time top-down interactive thriller with an old school point and click interface, James McAvoy and Daisy Ridley star as a married couple trying to have a romantic evening which turns into a nightmare when a police detective (Willem Dafoe) breaks into the home, accuses your wife of murder and beats you to death.
McAvoy’s character immediately finds himself immediately returned to the exact moment he opened the front door, stuck in a 12 minute time loop, doomed to relive the same terror again and again unless he can find a way to use the knowledge of what’s coming to change the outcome and break the loop.
The title comes to Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC later this year and follows on from other acclaimed Annapurna Interactive titles like “Journey,” “What Remains of Edith Finch,” “Gone Home,” “Flower,” “Donut County,” “Outer Wilds,” “Telling Lies,” and “Kentucky Route Zero”.
