Max has premiered the trailer for its revival of the cult hit 2002 MTV animated series “Clone High”, which hails from “The LEGO Movie” directors and “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse” executive producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller.

The story is set at a high school for clones of historical figures which was secretly being run as an elaborate military experiment to clone the greatest minds in history.

Put on ice for twenty years; the clones have been thawed out to resume the experiment with new clone classmates – all while navigating a new set of cultural norms and overly dramatic teen relationships.

The series sees the return of Will Forte as Abraham Lincoln, Nicole Sullivan as Joan of Arc, Christa Miller as Candide Sampson, Donald Faison as George Washington Carver, Judah Miller as Scangrade, along with Lord and Miller as Scudworth and JFK, respectively.

They’re joined by new cast members Ayo Edebiri as Harriet; Mitra Jouhari as Cleo; Vicci Martinez as Frida; Kelvin Yu as Confucius; Neil Casey as Topher Bus; Jana Schmieding as Sacagawea; Sam Richardson as Wesley; Mo Gaffney as Ms. Grumbles; Al Madrigal as Frederico; Danny Pudi as Dr. Neelankavil; and Emily Maya Mills as Ethel Merman.

Also onboard are Michael Bolton, Mandy Moore, Ian Ziering and Steve Kerr playing themselves. Jeffrey Muller, Kyle Lau, Dannah Phirman, and Danielle Schneider also star.

The ten-episode series is scheduled to make its debut on May 23rd with the first two episodes. Two new episodes then debut each Thursday from June 1st through to June 22nd.
