The details of Whip Media’s 2023 Streaming Satisfaction report have been released and according to the analysts, Warner Bros. Discovery’s Max has the highest total customer satisfaction rating among U.S. subscription streaming services.
Max topped the same study last year, but one change is it fell from 94% last year to 88% this year.
That puts it close to Hulu (87%) and Disney+ (85%) who came in second and third respectively. Hulu retained the same score as last year whereas Disney+ dropped three points.
Fourth went to Apple TV+ with 81%, up five points from last year. Fifth was Paramount+ which remained steady at 79%, and sixth was Netflix with 77% – down three points. The film offerings of Paramount+ were seen as particularly strong with those surveyed.
Amazon’s Prime Video (74%) and Peacock (74%) tied for seventh place, though Peacock’s score was a six point increase on last year.
Both Apple TV+ and Peacock saw big gains in every survey category. The rankings are based on a survey of over 2,000 U.S. adults.
