Actor turned director Matt Ross (“Captain Fantastic”) has been set to direct “Tomorrow and Tomorrow,” the film adaptation of Tom Sweterlitsch’s 2014 sci-fi novel for Tristar Pictures.
The story is set in a near future where a mysterious explosion has wiped out Pittsburgh and the city has been recreated in a virtual reality setting named the Archive.
One man, already emotionally damaged following the loss of his wife and child, discovers a murder victim not recorded by the Archive and finds himself thrust into a mystery.
Mark Gordon and Lynette Howell Taylor will produce.
