Six years after he last played the role, “The IT Crowd” and “What We Do In the Shadows” actor Matt Berry will revive his cult character of Steven Toast for the six-episode comedy series “Toast Of Tinseltown”.
BBC One and iPlayer have commissioned Objective Fiction to produce the series in which eccentric and arrogant actor Toast attempts to become a movie star in Hollywood.
Three seasons of the series were produced for Channel 4 which Berry co-wrote with Arthur Mathews. Berry won a BAFTA for his performance in 2015.
