Netflix and Mattel Television have officially confirmed that Kevin Smith’s 2021 series “Masters of the Universe: Revelation” is getting a follow-up titled “Masters of the Universe: Revolution”.
Announced as part of Netflix’s Geeked Week celebrations, the series is set to bring an all-new story to the world of Eternia which brings the focus to He-Man vs. Skeletor “as you’ve never seen them before”.
Its technology versus magic as He-Man and the heroic warriors face the forces of Skeletor and a deadly threat to all of Eternia.
‘Revelations’ served as a spiritual sequel to the original 1980s “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” cartoon and this will serve as a follow-up to that with many of the same people involved in that series returning.
‘Revolution’ is again being executive produced by Kevin Smith as well as Rob David, Ted Biaselli, Christopher Keenan, and Frederic Soulie.
No casting for the series has currently been announced but the show will once again be produced by Mattel Television and Powerhouse Animation.
