Marvel Studios’ upcoming Halloween special “Werewolf By Night” is reportedly set to have a runtime of just over 52 minutes (including credits). The information originates from Twitter scooper bigscreenleaks.

Marvel offered a first look at the black-and-white special two weekends ago as part of Disney’s D23 Expo event. In the clip, a group of monster hunters gather in search of a mysterious relic at Bloodstone Temple.

The tone has an old-school Universal classic monsters style feel to it, and the special will offer not just a first look at the Werewolf By Night character but features the MCU debut of Man-Thing.

Harriet Sansom Harris will reportedly play the special’s primary antagonist Verrusa, a character unique to the film and with a connection to the Bloodstone family.

“Werewolf By Night” debuts on October 7th on the Disney+ service. It is one of two Marvel specials due out before the end of the year, the other being the “Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special” which director James Gunn has previously indicated runs around 40 minutes.
