Celebrated game developer Insomniac Games has released six character posters for the upcoming “Marvel’s Spider-Man 2” ahead of the game’s debut in about six weeks.
In the game, the Spider-Men, Peter Parker and Miles Morales, enter new chapters in their lives as they balance their responsibilities as protectors of Marvel’s New York.
As Harry Osborne, Peter’s best friend, returns to his life, and Miles looks to build his future beyond high school, the relationship between our heroes is tested and strained as the Symbiote appears to threaten them, the city, and the ones they love.
The posters showcase Peter both in his regular Spider-Man outfit and his symbiote-overtaken black-suited version. There’s also Miles Morales, Venom, Kraven the Hunter and The Lizard.
It’s expected more details about the new title will be coming in the next few weeks ahead of the release – potentially a new dedicated PlayStation State of Play event showcasing the title which requires a minimum of around 100Gb of free storage.
The title releases October 20th and faces a crowded marketplace with “Alan Wake II,” “Assassin’s Creed Mirage,” “Super Mario Bros. Wonder,” and”Forza Motorsport” all hitting in October.
