Marvel’s “Falcon” Series Halting Production

Marvels Falcon Series Halting Production

Marvel Studios’ “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” TV series is currently in production and just hit its first major problem.

The series was previously scheduled to shoot two weeks in Puerto Rico from Tuesday, but that has now been suspended after the country suffered a 6.4 earthquake last week, followed by a 5.9 earthquake over the weekend.

The plan was to shoot in the northern part of the island, but right now it’s likely filming won’t take place in the country after all with an alternative location to be found. Either way, production will be temporarily halted until a solution is found and implemented.

Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan are reprising their titular roles in the series which will pick up after the events of “Avengers: Endgame”. Emily VanCamp will also return as Sharon Carter, Daniel Bruhl will reprise his role as Helmut Zemo, and Wyatt Russell will play John Walker a.k.a. U.S. Agent.

“The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” will hit Disney+ around Fall 2020. Check out some set photos below:
