Marvel’s “Echo” Delayed Several Months?

Marvel Studios’ “Echo” series is looking to be delayed a good half-year or so.

During a recent interview on Ben Blacker’s podcast The Writers Panel, the series showrunner Marion Dayre was asked about when fans could expect the series.

Dayre says the series, which has already wrapped filming, is now expected around December next year, saying the series would ‘probably’ come out a year or so after the interview which was just conducted.

That’s decidedly later than the original plan to hit this Summer. The apparent delay follows a report last month from The Cosmic Circus editor-in-chief Lizzie Hill, who cited logistical issues surrounding the production holding up the series.

“Echo” will feature the return of Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez, a deaf Native American woman able to mimic any opponent’s fighting style perfectly.

She made her debut in last year’s “Hawkeye”, and the show is expected to serve as a precursor to “Daredevil: Born Again” in 2024 as both Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin and Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock/Daredevil are expected to appear in multiple episodes.

Zahn McClarnon, Devery Jacobs, Cody Lightning, Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, and Graham Greene also star.
