“Tomb Raider” franchise developers Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix’s long-awaited “Marvel’s Avengers” video game is finally arriving next week.
Today a launch trailer for the title has gone online and while it is mostly familiar footage, there’s a bunch of shots of the Hulkbuster armor, Thor and Ms. Marvel in action.
Set five years after a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation for which the Avengers were blamed (and then disbanded). With superheroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
The game arrives on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 4th.
