Marvel has announced “Look Out for the Little Guy,” a memoir written by Paul Rudd’s character Scott Lang in “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” which is actually being published as a real book.

The historic tie-in book is available to pre-order on Amazon starting today and was revealed this morning on social media with a video of Rudd reading aloud an excerpt from the book which Marvel self-describes as “bracingly honest”.

Rudd says: “Scott is many things: former convict, a dad, an Avenger but he’s also a best-selling author, and now you can purchase my – his – very real book, ‘Look Out for the Little Guy’. This once movie prop is now an actual, real-life book that you can actually purchase where books are sold. How’s that for meta?”

The book features over twenty short pieces “exploring different aspects of Scott’s experiences as Ant-Man, as a dad, as an Avenger, and as an everyman looking back on some incredible life moments. Together, they capture the heart, humor, and humility that have made Scott Lang a beloved character among fans.”

In the upcoming “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania,” the film begins with Lang on a book tour for the memoir doing readings at bookshops and smiling for the camera. Hyperion Avenue is publishing the title in close association with Marvel Studios and the title reportedly has an on-sale date of September 5th 2023.

That’s well after the arrival of “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania” in cinemas which happens on February 17th. Rudd and co-star Jonathan Majors have begun the global promotional circuit for the film and were spotted at Disney Studios in Sydney, Australia yesterday afternoon promoting the title.
