Joe Locke, the star of Netflix’s gay coming-of-age series “Heartstopper,” has been cast in Marvel’s “WandaVision” spinoff series “Agatha: Coven of Chaos” on the Disney+ service.
Kathryn Hahn will reprise the role of the powerful witch Agatha Harkness, whom she played in “WandaVision”. The pair are also joined by Emma Caulfield Ford who reprises the role of Dottie.
Specifics of Locke’s role are under wraps. The actor made his debut in “Heartstopper” which became such an immediate hit Netflix renewed the series for a second and third season.
“WandaVision” head writer and executive producer Jac Schaefer returns to that role for the spin-off.
