“Marvel Zombies” Could Get A Second Season

Marvel Studios has no major new film releases until “Spider-Man” next Summer, but on the TV front there’s a few things to come.

The most immediate is “Marvel Zombies” which launches next week on the Disney+ service and which Brad Winderbaum, Head of Streaming at Marvel Studios, is currently out there promoting hard.

Though the project appears to be designed as a mini-series, it turns out the studio is leaving open the possibility that they could greenlight a second season should it go well.

In a recent discussion with ComicBook.com, the Head of Streaming at Marvel Studios, Brad Winderbaum says a “blueprint for a potential second season” has already been conceptualized. How the debut season goes however will determine its fate:

“Please, like, people have got to subscribe to Disney+ and watch this show. If that happens, they will get more. And we are excited. We’re ready.”

“Marvel Zombies” will feature the animated versions of several iconic MCU characters with multiple voice cast members reprising their live-action roles. All four episodes launch on September 24th.
