Marvel and Skydance New Media have announced a new video game that will bring together Captain America and Black Panther in a World War 2 setting.
This is the Marvel game that original award-winning “Uncharted” trilogy game director Amy Hennig has been working on – a narrative-driven ensemble adventure game set in the Marvel Universe with Hydra as the enemy.
Currently untitled, it has previously been reported the game will see players take on four playable heroes at different points in the story which unfolds during WW2. There’s a young Steve Rogers before he was frozen, T’Challa’s grandfather Azzuri who was the Black Panther of that era, Howling Commandos soldier Gabriel Jones, and Nanali who is in charge of Wakanda’s fledgling spy network.
The trailer and art would seem to corroborate that information. There’s no word as to when the game will be released as yet.
