Marvel Posts 10-Hour “Fantastic 4” Promo

Marvel Studios

Hot on the heels of Marvel Studios confirming a Disney+ premiere date of November 5th for “The Fantastic Four: First Steps,” the company has released an interesting new promotional piece for it.

The official channel has released a ten-hour video that shows Ebon Moss-Bachrach’s Ben Grimm/The Thing waiting around in the F4’s kitchen, the title of the clip calling this a “10-Hour Peaceful Ambient Noises | Marvel Ambiance” piece.

The kitchen also includes a quite visible clock that actually moves in real time throughout the piece – starting around noon/midnight and ending just before 10am/pm (it’s not clear if this is night or day).

Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, the film follows Marvel’s First Family – Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they face their most daunting challenge yet.

Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.

The Matt Shakman-directed film is now available on Digital and disc.
