The last day or so has seen reports that many of Marvel’s TV series for the Disney+ services, productions that were put on hold due to the coronavirus, are gearing up to resume filming.
Things began yesterday when a report came out indicating “WandaVision” is set to resume their filming next month. More than a rumor, the news was revealed in an announcement that Paul Bettany had to cancel a Tampa Bay Comic-Con appearance in July due to being called back for “WandaVision” filming in Los Angeles.
The project was completed its main shoot but now reportedly requires some additional filming and reshoots. The series is also making different headlines today as Hong Kong’s The Wanda Group is now challenging Disney’s U.S. trademarking of the word “WandaVision”.
Also today comes word from columnist Liz Hill that both “Loki” and “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” are readying to also start up again in July following both hitting pause over two months ago. All three shows have continued post-production in quarantine and as far as we know ‘Falcon’ and “WandaVision” are still set to respectively debut on the service in August and December of this year.
