James Marsden has reportedly been revealed as the leading star of a currently untitled courtroom docu-style comedy series that has been secretly in production for months now at Amazon Freevee reports Deadline.
Filming has already wrapped, and post-production is underway on the series with sources indicating to the trade that the show boasts a “unique, genre-bending format centered around a jury trial” and is semi-improvised.
Marsden and up-and-coming actors with improv backgrounds performed alongside civilians in the comedy about being summoned for jury duty in Los Angeles.
Executive producers include Cody Heller (“Dummy”), David Bernad (“The White Lotus”), Nicholas Hatton (“Borat Subsequent Moviefilm”), Lee Eisenberg (“WeCrashed”), Jake Szymanski (“The Package”), Gene Stupnitsky (“Hello Ladies”), Todd Schulman (“Who is America?”) and Ruben Fleischer (“Superstore”).
