The trailer for Nintendo’s “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” could be coming sooner than expected.
Back in early September came the news that the sequel to 2023’s hugely popular “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” would be titled “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie and will officially release in cinemas in April 2026. That was also released with a brief title announcement teaser during a Nintendo Direct broadcast.
Now, scooper MyTimetoShineH claims the first proper trailer for the film will arrive attached to copies of “Wicked: For Good” when it hits cinemas on November 21st, suggesting the trailer could be online as early as about two weeks from now.
The inclusion makes sense as Universal is releasing both films, and “Wicked: For Good” is tracking to have one of the biggest openings of the year – with a domestic debut weekend of around $112-115 million.
Nintendo and Illumination announced that returning voice actors for the new film will include Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Kay as Toad, and Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek.
Additional characters and voice cast will be announced at a later date.
