As previously reported, USA Network is working on a revival of the “Nash Bridges” TV series with Don Johnson confirmed to be reprising his titular role which he played from 1996 to 2001.
Appearing on CBS’ The Talk recently, Johnson revealed that his longtime co-star Cheech Marin will also be returning as Inspector Joe Dominguez.
Johnson says: “The Cheech will be back. I think in this adaptation of Nash Bridges, he’s going to actually be selling weed. And the cops in San Francisco are actually going to be smoking it.”
Currently being developed as a two-hour movie/backdoor pilot, Johnson confirms the project is being written now and they’re hoping it will work as a way for them to launch the property again as a series.
