“Manifest” Renewed, “Baker” & “Bluff” Scrapped

NBC has picked up its high concept drama series “Manifest” for a third season, whilst simultaneously cancelling “Indebted,” “Bluff City Law” and “Sunnyside”.

“Manifest” is currently in its second season and has averaged a 1.5 rating and 7.7 million viewers with seven days of delayed viewing. The decisions follow on from the network renewing “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist” whilst also cancelling “Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector” and “Perfect Harmony” last week.

Meanwhile over at ABC, the network has cancelled it low-rating hourlong romantic comedy-drama “The Baker and the Beauty,” but has renewed its freshman drama “For Life” for a second season.

Georgaris, Frankel and Edwards executive produce with Keshet’s Avi Nir, Alon Shtruzman, Peter Traugott and Rachel Kaplan, along with original series creator Assi Azar. Universal Television and ABC Studios produce in association with Keshet Studios.
