The fifth “Indiana Jones” film, which is reportedly still in talks to lock down “Logan” and “Ford v Ferrari” director director James Mangold to helm, has been pushed back a year.
Originally scheduled for release on July 9th 2021, a date it had no chance of reaching as filming wasn’t to begin for months, it will instead be released on July 29th 2022.
It was announced in February that Steven Spielberg had exited the project as director which is when Mangold began talks to take over. Harrison Ford will reprise his role for the new version which has seen multiple rewrites from Jonathan Kasdan.
