Malin Akerman, Mary Steenburgen, Craig T. Nelson and Aasif Mandvi have joined the cast of Touchstone Pictures romantic comedy “The Proposal” says The Hollywood Reporter.
The story centers on a publishing executive (Sandra Bullock) who forces her assistant (Ryan Reynolds) to marry her so she can avoid deportation to Canada.
Anne Fletcher directs from a script by Peter Chiarelli. Production is slated to begin this month.
