Maggie Q has signed on to star in Chinese director Tian Zhuangzhuang’s epic drama “The Warrior and the Wolf” reports Screen Daily.
Based on a novella by Japanese writer Inoue Yasushi, she plays a tribal woman who offers shelter from a blizzard to Odagir’s character and his army unit.
Japanese actor Joe Odagir and Taiwan’s Tou Chung-hua also star. Filming is currently underway in China’s Xinjiang Province.
