DC Entertainment’s Vertigo imprint has announced that they will be releasing both an art book inspired by, and a comic book prequel to George Miller’s upcoming “Mad Max: Fury Road”.
The comic will consist of three separate stories focusing on different characters in the movie and written by Miller, co-writer Nico Lathouris and storyboard artist Mark Sexton. The first deals with ‘Nux & Immortan Joe’, the second with ‘Furiosa’ and the third is a two-parter about Max himself.
The first issue launches in May with the rest released on a monthly basis. May also sees the release of the hardcover artwork collection “Mad Max: Fury Road – Inspired Artists”. Check out the tie-in artwork below.
