If there’s one thing you hear about from actors who work for Marvel Studios in interviews, they’re sworn to secrecy.
Some of the biggest stars working today, from Scarlett Johansson to Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and more, have all spoken in the past about how they basically can’t really discuss anything ahead of release when it comes to Marvel projects.
Stage icon and veteran actress Patti LuPone is either unaware or is fearless because in a recent interview with The View, she spilled some details about not just her role but others in the upcoming “Agatha: Coven of Chaos” series.
Nothing she discussed constitutes a spoiler. It’s all basic character information that would be out before the show’s premiere. Nevertheless, she talked quite a bit about the show, saying:
“It’s a coven of witches, and I play Lilia Calderu, who apparently is in the Marvel world. I researched her. She’s hot, she’s really hot, she’s got a great body and hair.
I didn’t know there were witches. I didn’t know anything about the Marvel world. There are witches in the Marvel world. So, we are a coven of witches, and the witches are: Kathryn Hahn, Aubrey Plaza, and the Familiar – if anybody knows ‘Heartstopper’ – is Joe Locke.
I play Lilia Calderu, a 450-year-old Sicilian witch whose power is divination and whose trial is tarot. It’s very interesting. I think it’s going to be fantastic.”
“Agatha: Coven of Chaos” is a spinoff of the hit series “WandaVision” and is currently in production ahead of an expected debut on Disney+ sometime in 2024.
