Lucas Till (“X-Men: First Class”) is set to star in “Hick” director Derick Martini’s indie thriller “Downer’s Grove”.
Based on Michael Hornburg’s 2001 novel, the story centers on a paranoid high school senior who’s worried about an apparent curse that takes the life of one student every year at the school.
Martini directs from a script he co-wrote with Bret Easton Ellis. Aimee Teegarden, Jill Hennessy and Kevin Zegers also star, and shooting kicks off in Los Angeles in the spring.
