“Terminator” producer Andy Vajna plans to adapt the cult book “Jonathan Livingston Seagull” as a “Shrek”-esque CG animated feature.
According to Firefox, no director has yet been announced, but the script is complete and early animation is already underway.
The original Richard Bach-penned parable about a seagull, fed up with his fellow gulls bickering, who sets out to achieve perfection of self-flight. Ascending to a higher plane of existence, he soon returns to reality in order to teach others.
CG workshops in Hungary, Germany, Asia and Los Angeles will work on the graphics.
