“Suits” actor Tom Lipinski has joined the cast of Jason Reitman’s upcoming comedy “Labor Day” which begins shooting in June says Variety.
Based on Joyce Maynard’s book and set on a late summer Labor Day holiday weekend in the 1980s, the story follows a divorced, depressed single mom (Kate Winslet) out shopping with her 13-year-old son Henry when they encounter a large, fearsome and bleeding man named Frank (Josh Brolin).
He asks for a ride and against their better judgment they agree, later learning the police are searching their town for an escaped convict. Lipinski will play a younger version of Josh Brolin’s character in the film.
