Mike Flanagan and Jeff Howard (“Oculus”) have sold their original low-budget horror pitch “Peekers” to Lionsgate.
Based on Kealan Patrick Burke’s short story, the action begins when a terrified man walks into a police station to report that the residents on his entire street are missing, insisting victims were done away with by eerie, grinning doppelgangers.
When the man disappears from a locked interrogation room, a young female officer must venture out into the rapidly vanishing community to find her son. Lawrence Grey will produce.
