“Lioness” Renewed For Season 3

Paramount+

Paramount+ has officially handed out a third season renewal order for its Zoe Saldana, Nicole Kidman and Morgan Freeman-led thriller series “Lioness”.

The renewal comes nearly a year after the premiere of the second season last October. Earlier reports suggested a third would happen, but Paramount has only now just confirmed it.

Michael Kelly, Laysla De Oliveira, Genesis Rodriguez, Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin Hébert, Jonah Wharton, Thad Luckinbill and Hannah Love Lanier co-star.

The second season saw a new Lioness operative enlisted to infiltrate a previously unknown threat. With pressure mounting from all sides, Joe (Saldana) was forced to confront the profound personal sacrifices she made as the leader of the Lioness program.

“Lioness” is one of several Taylor Sheridan shows airing on the streamer alongside “Tulsa King,” “Landman,” “Mayor of Kingstown, “1923,” and the upcoming “Yellowstone” spin-off “The Madison”.

The series is executive produced by Sheridan, David C. Glasser, Saldaña, Kidman, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Jill Wagner, David Lemanowicz, Geyer Kosinski, Michael Friedman and Keith Cox.
