Liam Neeson is set to star in the thriller “Thug” which will see him re-team with his “Cold Pursuit” director Hans Petter Moland.
The story revolves around an ageing San Pedro gangster (Neeson) who attempts to reconnect with his children and rectify the mistakes in his past.
However the criminal underworld won’t loosen its grip willingly. Tony Gayton penned the script while Warren Goz, Eric Gold, Roger Birnbaum, Michael Besman and James Masciello are producing.
Shooting is slated to begin in October in Los Angeles.
