Leto, Snyder Tease “Justice League” Inclusion

Out promoting his appearance in one of the earliest studio releases of the year, John Lee Hancock’s “The Little Things,” actor Jared Leto recently spoke about other projects he has coming out this year.

It has been rumoured he will reprise his role of The Joker from “Suicide Squad” in Zack Snyder’s new cut of “Justice League”. Of that, the actor would not confirm anything to Variety’s Awards Circuit but doesn’t outright deny anything. He says:

“I may or may not be in this; I’ve heard the rumours too. We’ll have to let Zack [Snyder] confirm or deny that one. I may or may not have shot something with Zack, but I love him, he’s just a maverick and an incredible filmmaker; we get along great and have great chemistry. I look forward to working with him again in the future. We have lots up our sleeves, Zack and I.”

The latter part of the comment is telling as Snyder’s technically never worked with Leto before beyond executive producing “Suicide Squad”.

Meanwhile, Snyder himself tells Beyond the Trailer this week that his recut will boast ‘super rad’ action involving the character of Wonder Woman:

“I feel like Wonder Woman’s journey in our movie is really [that] she’s kind of the glue. A lot of the glue that kind of holds the team together. She is the dose of love that everyone kind of needs. She has a line where she’s talking to Aquaman (Jason Momoa), where he has a slight sort of malice towards his people, and he’s talking about it. And she says, of course, things like, ‘Hate is useless.’ And he’s like, ‘Maybe.'”

“Zack Snyder’s Justice League” is rumoured to be coming to HBO Max in March. Check out a new image Snyder himself recently released.
