Warner Bros. Pictures is moving forward with its plans for a LEGO-themed cinematic universe.
The 3D animated ninja-themed LEGO adventure movie “Ninjago” has been given a September 23rd 2016 release date.
Charlie Bean (“Tron: Uprising”) will make his feature directorial debut on the film which “The LEGO Movie” writer-directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller will produce alongside Dan Lin and Roy Lee.
A sequel to “The LEGO Movie” is also in the works but hasn’t settled on a release date yet.
