The LeBron James-led “Space Jam” sequel has revealed its official title – “Space Jam: A New Legacy”. James himself revealed the title in the form of the official logo adorning a hat he is wearing in an Instagram video post.
In the original, Michael Jordan teamed up with Looney Tunes characters like Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck to battle a group of animated aliens on the court. It’s James rather than Jordan this time around.
James leads a cast that includes basketball stars like Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard, Chris Paul, Diana Taurasi, Klay Thompson, and Nneka and Chiney Ogwumike. “Iron Man” actor Don Cheadle and “Star Trek: Discovery” star Sonequa Martin-Green also star.
Malcolm D. Lee helms from a script by Justin Lin, Alfredo Botello, Andrew Dodge, and Willie Ebersol. Ryan Coogler produces.
