Launch Trailer: “Fast and Furious: Crossroads”

With “F9: The Fast Saga” still nearly a year off now, fans of the “Fast and Furious” franchise will need something to tide them over – and they may get it in the new game “Fast & Furious Crossroads” which released its launch trailer.

Made for current gen but looking very much last gen, the game sees Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez voicing their roles of Dom and Letty in the title which also has Asia Kate Dillon (“Billions”), Sonequa Martin-Green (“Star Trek: Discovery”) and Peter Stormare (“Constantine”) involved.

Stormare plays a sinister criminal mastermind enacting a plan that will see the family traversing the globe and racing fast cars to bring him down. Like the franchise itself, the trailer starts out very street racing focused before turning into a physics-defying espionage action chase project involving everything from hovercrafts to giant mining equipment to an ending that feels straight out of the “Just Cause 2” playbook.

That’s the main story mode. The game also boasts an online multiplayer mode allowing players to race and combat one another on intricate tracks. “Fast & Furious Crossroads” is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC
