“Last Days of American Crime” Set For June

Netflix has set a a June 5th premiere date for the Olivier Megaton-directed futuristic heist film “The Last Days of American Crime” based on Rick Remender’s 2009 graphic novel.

The story is set in the not-too-distant future where, as a final response to crime and terrorism, the U.S. government plans to broadcast a signal that will make it impossible for anyone to knowingly break the law.

Ramirez plays Graham Bricke, a career criminal who teams up with Kevin Cash (Pitt) and Shelby Dupree (Brewster) to commit the heist of the century and the last crime in American history before the signal is transmitted.

Edgar Ramirez, Michael Pitt, Anna Brewster and Sharlto Copley star while Karl Gajdusek (“Oblivion”) penned the script.
